Our New Site
We were already, everything was in place, the emails went out telling about our new site and then swoop it was gone.
As my friend Don of visiblesoul web design always says when modifying your site backup your files! Well I didn't backup my files when editing and accidently deleted the entire site.
It was interesting that the accidental deletion came shortly after spending time in prayer with Jesus. I was seeking guidance for the ministry website.
At the time I didn't think it was interesting, it was more of dejection after all the work "I" had put into developing the pages. Shortly after the feeling of losing everything a refreshing peace became visible within me.
"I" was not important--proclaiming Jesus was. HE must become greater and I must become less.
When I had the original site up, inside me it was uncomfortable, there was a lot of commercialism and less of Jesus. A Christians life should reflect our Lord and not the world.
The ministry site would have to be rebuilt, it meant starting from scratch, going back to the beginning.
Our hope is that as we rebuild the walls of our site to be a fortitude of proclaiming our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that you will enjoy the site even more.
By John MacArthur
Obedience to God causes ordinary people to do extraordinary things. That was the premise of John MacArthur's popular book Twelve Ordinary Men, in which he looked at the lives of Jesus' disciples. He showed how their availability and obedience enabled them to turn their world upside down. More importantly, he showed how the same could be true of you as well. John MacArthur has developed a practical workbook to enable you to foster obedience and availability to God in your own life. Used in conjunction with the book, the Twelve Ordinary Men Workbook offers valuable, life-changing insights for individuals and small groups alike.
